White Bread (Variation 1)
Another try on one of the recipes from The Bread Baker's Apprentice: Mastering the Art of Extraordinary Bread book. This week we picked white bread variation 1 on page 266 that used full cream powdered milk. We didn't realise it is pretty sweet bread. Again, same as previous, this bread is baked in bread machine for one hour.
Here are the ingredients based on the book formula that we used:
- 500g bread flour
- 5g instant yeast
- 31g full cream powdered milk
- 9g salt
- 39g sugar
- 39g egg, lightly beaten
- 39g butter, melted in microwave for 30 second
- 314g water
